The Challenge

As adoption of Hawk-Eye technology accelerated across leagues, venues, and sporting organizations around the world, the complexity of supporting those deployments grew alongside it.

Each installation requires a highly specialized technology stack consisting of servers, workstations, GPUs, cameras, networking equipment, storage, cabling, and custom hardware configurations. These systems must be assembled, tested, shipped, and deployed with complete confidence that they will perform under the pressure of live competition.

Managing sourcing, procurement, configuration, logistics, and deployment across dozens of projects was placing an increasing burden on Hawk-Eye's internal teams. They needed a partner capable of managing the entire technology lifecycle while helping optimize system performance, improve procurement efficiency, and reduce operational overhead.

Working closely with Hawk-Eye engineers and technical teams, USI assumed responsibility for sourcing, procurement, configuration validation, assembly, testing, logistics coordination, and deployment support. Leveraging decades of industry relationships and supplier partnerships, USI helps secure critical technology components, often during periods of limited availability and supply chain disruption.

All systems are built, configured, validated, and tested by USI technicians at our Salt Lake City headquarters before being delivered for installation. Our team also works alongside Hawk-Eye to evaluate hardware configurations, recommend improvements, validate system reliability, and ensure every deployment meets the performance requirements demanded by professional sports environments.
